I am looking for comparable descriptions for ideas and what appears to be a "standard." Would you mind sharing your job description?

I have a short survey, too:

1.Is CPCS and/or CPMSM certification a requirement for your position? Preferred? Or, not addressed in your position description?

2.If you are a member, do you pay for your own state and/or NAMSS membership fees?

I have a meeting with my CEO and COO on Monday and need to know what the standard is for FTEs in the Medical Staff office. We have 619 physicians, 199 AHPs and there is 2 people doing the work! SOS!!

Hello,

Does anyone have an example policy or process they are willing to share regarding how an application is requested for your facility? In particular, in a health system setting where there is an in-house CVO. Can anyone call the CVO and request an application for any facility in the health system or is the request "vetted" with the requestor for each facility? By vetted, I mean practice intentions, willingness to provide call coverage, etc. is identified before the application is offered.

Flu Vaccinations / Are they mandatory at your institution?

I have been asked to conduct a survey in regards to your requirements / criteria for Physician Vaccinations for Influenza. Would you please advise if it is mandatory for physician to either obtain the vaccination at your Hospital or produce proof they were vaccinated during that year / time frame. Drug screening for medical staff

Hello all,
I am interested to know whether or not your hospital requires a drug screen for physicians on the medical staff at initial appointment. Currently, my hospital system (3 hospitals, 1 long term care facility) requires the drug screen for initial appointment at 3 of 4 facilities. One of the facilities is considering changing their policy. Thank you in advance for the input!
